DeskReset Last updated July 5, 2026

DeskReset is built to keep your data on your device. This page explains exactly what the app collects, what it does not, and which third-party services are involved.

What we collect

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (both provided by Google) to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. This covers anonymous usage events — such as opening a screen or completing a stretch — along with crash logs and basic device identifiers like device model and OS version.

What we don't collect

DeskReset does not read health-sensor data and does not integrate with Apple HealthKit or Google Fit. We don't ask for or store your name, email address, or contacts.

Stored only on your device

Your check-in records and streak history live locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. The act of completing a stretch may still be counted as an anonymous usage event by Firebase Analytics, but the record itself stays on-device.

Third-party services

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google). Data handled by these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy ↗.
